  9. The Macintosh plug-in has been developed to work with most browsers.
  10. However, as with anything that is attempting to be compatible across
  11. multiple applications, some problems are not correctable from within the
  12. plug-in.
  13.  
  14. The following is summary of the known problems and the browser or
  15. software they are associated with.
  16.  
  17. Netscape 3.0, 3.1
  18. -----------------
  19.  
  20. • If your Monitors control panel is set to 256 colors your browser
  21. window may occasionally take on strange coloration. This can happen
  22. after you visit a web page that uses what is called a custom color
  23. lookup table. Using a higher setting in the Monitors control panel
  24. (thousands or millions of colors) will help correct the colors. You can
  25. also quit and relaunch your browser to reset the colors.
  26.  
  27. • If an HREF tag in an embedded movie leads to a server that is refusing
  28. connections, no error message is given.  Netscape gives a connecting
  29. host message and then continues to play the movie.

  31. • When trying to print a movie "pieces" of the movie are placed on the
  32. screen.

  45. • When you click on a movie page and the click the back arrow to go to
  46. the previous page, The vertical scroll bar disappears.

  48. • When you click on some movies it causes down scrolling.

  50. • HREF "mailto" places the subject and address in the address field.
  51.  
  52. • If you have a QuickTime VR movie in a frame and you click on a hot
  53. spot that is supposed to bring up another view within the frame, it
  54. actually displays the view in the full browser window, not just within
  55. the frame.
